Country Chic & anything but ordinary! {Sonoma County Wedding Photographer, Country Chic Wedding, Country Wedding, Cowboy boots with wedding dress, vintage wedding decor}

If you are at all a country fan, brace yourself! This Bride is nothing short of a country beauty! Sammie and Pete are High School sweethearts. Pete has always been a Cowboy and Sammie is your typical girly girl. Pete had an immediate country influence on this girly girl! When Sammie started to plan their special day she made sure to incorporate her love of vintage decor and Pete’s Country roots. I think she executed her vision with perfection!!! Sammie and Pete used to own an antique shop in Sebastopol so it was only natural that vintage decor would be apart of the wedding. Antiques and overall vintage decor is Sammie’s passion. She recently started a vintage decor company called Anything but Ordinary and I’m very excited to start working with her on future weddings (such as my anniversary party/vow renewal next September)

Get your pinning fingers ready because this is going to be filled with Pinterest worthy details!!!!  From the rest of the wedding obsessed world, Sammie, thank you for all of these scrumptious details!!!

Look at those socks!  I love it!!!!!!!!

Sammie really wanted the boys to be able to relax the day of the wedding and have fun being themselves.  She really wanted to be sure we could capture the guys just being guys, doing the thing they love most, fishing.

Sammie let each of the girls pick out their own dresses.  They knew the overall look Sammie wanted and she gave them the freedom to choose from there.  I think that made for a very happy bridal party!  They were each so excited about their dresses.  It was the first time all year I didn’t hear one person complain about their dress.  It was really refreshing!

Ok really?  could this little cowgirl flower girl be any cuter??????  oooooh well wait until you see her little brother the cowboy ring bearer!  prepare those ooohhhhsss and aaaahhhhhhs!

It pays to have dedicated 2nd shooters!  Thanks to my amazingly dedicated 2nd photographer, Brian we were able to get this really cool slow shutter shot of everyone dancing!

I don’t often do dark night time type shots since I’m mainly an available light photographer BUT Sammie had early on asked me to get a shot similar to one she had seen like this.  Well with the craziness of the day we were given an even shorter window of time to get all the portraits done and someone forgot to bring the flag over to our area so it completely slipped our minds.  I am NOT a fan of disappointing my clients, especially these two so we pulled them outside and made this shot unique to them!  I’m really glad we did, it was a great way to take a shot they really liked and change it up a bit.  I love the moon in the background!  adds a little touch to it!
