Part of my “goals” for 2014 is to keep my blog updated as best as possible!  Last year I photographed 35 weddings and well over 40 engagement sessions and next to none made it to the blog!  All made it to Facebook but none on the blog so I am starting fresh this year!!!  I also have plans to slowly but surly do a little recap on each of 2013 sessions that have not been blogged…. but for now here is a glimpse at my very first engagement session for 2014!  and what a way to start it out!  This couple from the begining had some great, really fun ideas.  I sometimes get caught between the motivation to not get stuck in a rut doing the same thing over and over yet maintaining the understanding that my clients book me for a reason and not to stray from that in order to not be “redundant”  so sometimes keeping that balance is a personal challenge.  So when Roxanne sent me her vision for this session I was SOOO excited.  I was able to see what she saw and knew I could take those ideas and make them unique to them and stay within my style of photography.  What a great way to start the new year!!

and if you happen to own an ipad you can thank this good looking gentleman!  He helped design it!  I have to say I may owe him many successful drives to Disneyland, shopping trips, doctors visits and many more to him… the ipad makes me a better Mom LOL !!
