Fountain Grove Golf and Country Club Fall Wedding {Sonoma County Wedding Photographer, Fountain Grove Country Club Wedding Photos}

Shannon and Cory have got to be one of the nicest couples I’ve come across in a long time.  They were so much fun to work with!  If you’ve ever been subject to being in front of my camera you know that I often take you to odd places that are usually facing some gorgeous alternative spot and you are no doubt wondering “why is she taking our photo heeeerrrre???  and not over there???”  The good news is once you see the images you always end up figuring out that there is a method to my madness LOL  =)))  But occasionally that unsetting feeling can take some time to get you comfortable.  But not Shannon and Cory, right away at the beginning of their romantics I took them to a painted concrete tunnel that was dirty and grungy but surrounding us was this gorgeous gorgeous golf course.  Then the next stop was this little patch of dried dead grass off to the side of the golf course.  But immediately when I was trying to assure them it would look great, they said “we have no doubts at all we completely trust you” and just being able to have that working relationship with them yielded soooo many wonderful photos!  and we were able to get them done and into the reception 15 minutes early!!!

Pretty much the entire day both Shannon and Cory were so laid back and relaxed from morning until the bitter end.  They just enjoyed every moment!  It made for such a wonderful day for them and everyone around them!

I love taking photos of little things like how we listen to music because back in the day it was a boom box with the best mixed tape we’ve ever made from recording it off the radio (remember that??) and now it’s the ipod and the speaker dock, who knows what will be 30 years from now!

How could I be expected to not keep taking photo after photo of this gorgeous bride when she was just soooo happy and having so much fun!!! We all smiled and laughed all day!

No these two don’t look alike!!  not at all!!! 😉

The most delicious cheese cakes by Your Sweet Expectations with an almond butter crumb crust!!! yummmm

As my Husband loves to say…. “team work makes the dream work”  Gotta love the officient and the wonderful DJ setting up the game plan!

I hope my Husband and I hold hands forever!

LOL I just couldn’t resist!  Isn’t this how all kids view wedding ceremonies????  Love it!

I love this next photo the one on the bottom of the two.  The first person he reached out to was his Mama!  I’m a sucker for a good Son and Mother relationship.  My first born is a boy and I couldn’t imagine loving him more!  I hope he reaches out to me like this on his wedding day!  …and I hope his bride is like Shannon!

I love the height difference between these two!  My Dad and my Mom were a foot different in height (hence why I’m 6ft tall and my Mom is 5’4″ on a good day 😉

Ok so I’m used to family and guests taking photos with their phones around me LOL but this was a first and I LOVED it!!!  The groom was just so in love with his Bride and how beautiful she looked he took out his phone and had to get a shot of his own!!!  …please note Cory is not a small guy (I know we already established this) but look at that phone! It’s almost bigger than his paws!!!

UMMMM attention bachelor that wrapped this gift below…. you soooo get an A !!!  I love the creativity yet still sticking to your manly man code.  He wrapped it in the newspaper (total guy style) but chose the section with the advertisement for the Wine Country Bridal Show!! and then used money as a tag for their honeymoon destination!  LOVE it!  Way to be Martha Stewart wrapped in a manly way!

Man does this guy know how to get a party started! Such a fun DJ!! Got the guests engaged throughout the entire reception!
