What can I say?  I absolutely LOVE Nancy and Jason!  I have been looking forward to this wedding all year long.

Nancy and Jason did such a great job with the decor of their wedding.  They took the classy, simplicity of black dresses and green succulents and made them stand out in such a stylish way with different colored shoes.  They made small, unique little vases and filled them with different garden flowers and used them for centerpieces so the tables were beautiful with out being overwhelming and so the guests could see each other over the centerpieces. Each of the most memorable details of the wedding were so simple in itself but when applied in with the rest of their vision it added such a style to the wedding.  I just loved everything!

I love this new trend of Grooms getting to add a little personal style into their attire for the wedding day.  It gives the wedding a personal touch from the Groom that never used to be present.  They wore grey suits with colored converse and fun colored socks.  Jason differentiated himself by wearing suspenders, which Nancy was all too happy to play with!

 

Ok really? this right here prooves what a small world we live in!  I went to my Freshman High School Homecoming with their Minister!!!  in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!!! 7 hours away!!!  Really? what are the odds I walk into a wedding and the Minister is a past date of mine!!!  I have not yet found my old stack of dance photos but I know my Mom has a box at home so next time I’m down there for a visit I will have to post a photo from good ‘ol 1996!

Seriously this caterer has his work dialed in!  He was so amazing to work with I would recommend him over and over again!  and um yeah? taco bar???? YES PLEASE! Margarita machine??? DOUBLE YES PLEASE!!! But seriously though, Gus and his team were such a pleasure to work with!!

Ok and to make this even more strange…. the maid of honor, Sarah has my maiden name!  (and it’s not like it’s Smith) Metzger!  How funny huh?  Lot’s of flashback to my youth at this wedding!  Every time they yelled “Metzger” at her I would turn!!

Ok there is no hiding the fact that I am partial to my Godmother’s cakes but wow, these cheesecakes from Sinful Delights were AMAZING!!!  She brought a huge plate to us before the ceremony so we could all get a little sweet bite before the big day got underway…. let’s just say I had 1 of each!  YUMMMMMM!!!
