Kim reached out to me trying to find someone who could accommodate a specific timeframe for her family’s session.  I’m sure as many people can understand, trying to get your family together for a portrait can be very challenging.  Especially when they don’t all live in the immediate area.  But her oldest son Matt was leaving for deployment with the United States Navy so that was a very motivating circumstance!  I was more than happy to oblige!  So on New Years Day we headed out to a beautiful little regional park for a little photoshoot!  It was really more of a giggle fest but I happened to take a few photos as well!  For me sometimes it’s really nice to see a family with grown children all interact.  I can’t help but put my family in fast forward and wonder what we will all be like as the kids get older.  I could only hope and pray that my son is even half the Men these two are.  They are both unique from each other but such well mannered, wonderful Men.  It was such an honor to get to photograph this wonderful family and I eagerly await the family session we will do once Matt returns safe and sound.
