I am so blessed to have this God given tallent. It has brought me to many Countries, many beautiful locations, and allowed me to meet and fall in love with some of the greatest people! But once in a while I am fortunate to get the opportunity to photograph someone I know. I have known Kyle (the Groom) since he was 8 or 9. Since the day I met the Morris/Dravland crew I fell in love with each one of them. I can honestly say there isn’t one person in that family I didn’t love immediately. It has been one of my biggest blessings in life to be a small part of this family. I cry at most weddings but I’m pretty sure I sobbed all day at this one! I’m not even entirely sure why ! It’s the second wedding I’ve done for someone I’ve know since childhood and both times I just sobbed all day.
So normally I do a little sneak peek after each wedding but with this one I just could stop myself my little sneak peek is pretty much a summary of the day. Keep in mind MOST of these are straight out of camera! A handful of them are edited but as you will see not many ! I hope you can see past that and enjoy a look into this beautiful beautiful wedding!
The location was a stunning little gem of a place called Jelly Fish. It’s a restaurant just a short walk down the beach from the resort we stayed at (NOW Larimar) The staff there was FANTASTIC! My dear friend and fabulous wedding coordinator, Amanda Vineyard of Vineyard Events was hired by Kyle and Mikalah to coordinate the wedding both the pre planning and day of coordination. I can honestly say this whole trip would not have been as smooth and enjoyable with out her! If you are planning to do a wedding abroad I strongly suggest hiring someone like Amanda to help make your day perfect!
