You can expect a fun, upbeat photography experience. It’s pretty rare that I will ever place you in a stiff, awkward pose. If I do it’s typically to make a joke and get you laughing (which is one of the reasons you see so many laughing photos in my portfolio… that and because of my sometimes inappropriate jokes) But really at the end of the day I want every photography experience to be fun! Whether it’s a family, boudoir, engagement, wedding, or newborn session (ok well newborn sessions are a bit quieter but we are often times silent laughing) If it’s a family session my goal is to make sure that Dad (who typically hates having his photo taken and was dragged to the session kicking and screaming) to have fun or at the very least walk away saying, “That wasn’t so bad.” Same thing at a wedding. I want the groomsmen being themselves and having a great time taking photos, not avoiding me. I am usually getting the entire bridal party to do fun, crazy things not really for a good photo but more just to get them having fun before we take photos! That always, in my opinion, makes for more natural photos of everyone. Less fake, cheesy smiles.
I am a Stay at Home Mom of 2 kids ages 4 and 5, so you can expect a crazy schedule when attempting to make an appointment, BUT you can expect that we will do everything we can to make sure we get you in and make it work for YOU! We will always do everything we can to make sure you are fully informed and prepared for your session.
Although I have a crazy life filled with tiny people that resemble screeching monkeys, baseball, basketball, ballet, an insane yet amazing photography business, and the social life of …. oh wait social life?? you can always expect me to show up on time, fully prepared and completely focused on you during your session or appointment. After all the fact that I am there with you is my dream come true. I can not think of a better way for me to spend my time than balancing my wonderful family and photographing my amazing clients. I will always be present and focused on getting amazing sets of images unique for you!
What you might not be able to expect (I know I know this is the “what to expect” category… just roll with me), you might not be able to expect any particular wardrobe. My outfits range from yoga pants to the trendiest outfit the amazing ladies at Ooh La Loft picked out for me (and our nanny approves).
